HS Boys and Girls Basketball is over for this season, but our qualifying HS Wrestlers will compete in their State Wrestling Tournament this weekend to finish up Winter Sports. HS Spring Sports officially start Friday, Feb. 23rd. JH Boys Basketball District Tournament will be held at West Jefferson on Saturday.

Our High School Boys' Wrestling Team will be competing in their district tournament on Thursday, February 15th at Ririe High School. Matches are scheduled to begin at 12:00pm and championships will be that same evening. Come cheer on our athletes as they compete for a chance to go to State! If you can't be there in person, you can watch online at www.ririebulldogs.org.

Our Panthers take on the Huskies on their home court for Game 4. There's nothing like spending your Valentine's Day in the stands at a high-energy basketball game. Show these boys some love! Spirit bus for high school students leaves the Panther Den at 5:30pm. (Students can only be released to their parents for return travel.) Tonight's game will be broadcast on NFHS Network.

Heart attacks have been happening all over West Jefferson High School! For the last week and a half, our leadership class has cut hearts, written messages, and hung up valentines for every student in the school. The leadership students have all helped to think of things they like and appreciate about their fellow classmates. It’s been amazing to walk up and down the hallways and read about the good they see in each other. Yesterday they finished writing them for teachers and staff as well! West J is really feeling the love this Valentine’s Day! Thank you, Mrs. Annie Dalling, for guiding this leadership class project!

Seniors and Parents - Please see the attached flyer about a FAFSA Night on 2/26/24 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Representatives from CEI will be here to help fill out the form. Please remember that you need to have a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID created BEFORE filling out the FAFSA . It can take between 3 - 5 days for them to verify your FSA ID so please create one soon.
